Height, Width, Depth
Height, Width, Depth is an artist book created as part of my thesis in the Yale School of Art Graphic Design MFA program. The book intersperses a first-person narrative – highlighting anecdotes from my time in the course – with essays by collaborators, Katherine Cooper and Sam Davis. The book catalogs my design work, alongside research imagery and video stills. It is bound with an oversized aluminum coil fabricated for the project.
My thesis book catalogs my MFA design work, writing, video and commissioned essays. The book is bound with an oversized coil, fabricated in the Yale engineering department, and incorporates a variety of visual techniques that play with the book’s form – including tip-ins and overprinting.
